WKCTA 3RD ANNUAL RALLY FOR LIFE

(24 HOUR TENNIS FUNDRAISER)

JULY 29TH-JULY 30TH

Begins at 1:00pm July 29th and ends at 1:00pm, July 30th. (24 hours of tennis).

The event will benefit the American Cancer Society of Kenosha County and the Sharing Center.

Players of all ages and levels needed to cover the 24 hours.

Where: Central High School Tennis Courts

(Hwy. 83, south of Hwy. 50)

Goals: * Raise funds for the American Cancer Society of Kenosha County

* Collect “back-to-school” items for the Sharing Center. Most needed items this year are: New shoes (or a Payless gift card), Large pink erasers, Glue (sticks & bottles), and markers (8 or 10 pack).

* Keep a tennis ball going back and forth over the net for 24 hours

Participants are asked to bring any of the following “Back To Scho ol” items to be donated to the Sharing Center or provide a monetary donation for the American Cancer Society of Kenosha. “Back To School” items needed by the Sharing Center: Full Size Back Packs, Paper & Notebooks and Pens & Pencils. Most needed items this year are: New shoes (or a Payless gift card), Large pink erasers, Glue (sticks & bottles), and markers (8 or 10 pk).

We are looking for cancer survivors or those battling cancer to participate in our recognition and closing ceremonies, where WKCTA will be presenting a check to the American Cancer Society of Kenosha at 1:00PM July 30th.

During this 24 hour event we will be offering a number of fun tennis and non-tennis related activities for everyone! Registration is required for some of these events.

EVENT ACTIVITIES SCHEDULE/DESCRIPTION

July 29, 2016

1:00pm - 4:00pm "HIGH SCHOOL CAMP TOURNAMENT". If you are already registered for our July WKCTA High School Camp July 25th-29th, you will automatically be enrolled. If you are not in our camp and want to participate, please check the box on the registration form.

4:00pm - 8:00pm "AGES 5-14 KIDS RALLY FOR LIFE ACTIVITIES/GAMES". Come out and use the skills you've learned this summer and participate in tennis themed activities/games and drills.

8:00pm - 10:00pm "DOUBLES CHAMP". Open to all players of High School age and adults. No partner?, no worries, we will match you up. Check the box on the registration form.

10:00pm - 12:00am "31 DOUBLES TOURNAMENT". Open to all players of High School age and adults. No partner, no worries, we will match you up. Check the box on the registration form.

July 30, 2016

12:00am - 7:00am "MIDNIGHT ALUMNI TOURNAMENT" Past/Present Tennis Players from area schools. Bring a tent/music/sleeping bag/cot. Lights on the courts will be on all night.

7:00am - 9:00am " Breakfast on the court, fun games and activities for all ages!! You don't want to miss this.

9:00am - 1:00pm "10 & UNDER and JUNIOR (11-14) TOURNAMENT" This is a showcase tournament between WKCTA and Racine Tennis Associations. This is by Invitation.

10:00am - 1:00pm "BBQ Cookout" PAT & RON'S HOT DOGS visit them on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/patandronshotdogs/

1:00pm "RECOGNITION & CLOSING CEREMONY: Join us as we honor those who have survived and are currently battling cancer. A check will be presented to the American Cancer Society.

Tennis activities for all ages will be available throughout the event, So grab your friends and family and join us on the courts for some tennis fun!
